Rhinos Host Pittsburgh Tonight, 7:30

After managing to get by RWB Adria in the first round of the US Open Cup, the Rhinos earned the right to host their second round game against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds tonight. Pittsburgh is in the cellar of the USL-2 division, winless so far with 7 losses and 4 draws. Averaging less than a goal a game, scoring has been a problem, so look for the Rhinos to try to limit their opportunities and in doing so make a one or two goal effort for themselves stand up for a win tonight. US Open Cup is getting into full swing with the big boys of the MLS joining the competition and the smaller clubs being eliminated. The Rhinos will not survive long with efforts like the previous nailbiter against RWB Adria, so they will have to elevate their play. I will be interested if they advance to see them play an MLS side and discover if they play to the level of competition (like they played down to Adria). Kick-off is set for 7:30 PM EST at Paetec Park. Are you going to the game? Care less about US Open Cup than league play? Share your thoughts
