Euro Update

With groups A and B completing their play, we now know a good deal about who will be on to the quarterfinals. In Group A Portugal wins the group, and Turkey will also advance with their crazy comeback against the Czech Republic, who along with Switzerland will be all done. In Group B Croatia emphatically claims the group, winning all three matches including todays against Poland 1-0. Germany will also move on courtesy of their 1-0 win over Austria today. This of course leaves Poland and Austria out. In Group C we know the Netherlands have won the group, but tomorrow's play will be worth following with Romania, France and Italy all alive to move on. Romania may have the edge, a point up on France and Italy and also facing a Netherlands side expected to rest some starters. In Group D Spain has clinched the group, and Russia and Sweden will be left to battle it out for the final place in the quarterfinals. So as we stand now the quarterfinals include:
Portugal
Turkey
Croatia
Germany
Netherlands
Spain
Russia/Sweden
Romania/France/Italy

Tomorrow's games will be played simultaneously, with Romania vs the Netherlands on ESPN Classic at 2:30 PM EST, and France vs Italy on ESPN at the same time. Share your thoughts on the matches and vote for who you think will go through.
