Wow! I can't think of another word here. 118 minutes without a goal scored, then Croatia seems to seal the win with a last minute goal, only to see Turkey score in about the last second of overtime to send it to penalties, where Croatia chokes big time. What an awful way to lose, if you are a Croatian fan, well... sorry! I would like to say Germany should look good to win that semifinal, but I can't say anything against Turkey just yet, they play with a ton of heart and never fold, at least to this point. Their diminutive captain Nihat seems to embody the spirit of the entire team with his drive and desire.
I do expect to be with you tomorrow during the Netherlands vs Russia match, at least to do occasional updates. I expect a better game there than many think, as Russia with Arshavin is a different team as we have recently witnessed, and while I like the Netherlands to win tomorrow, I think their defense will be vulnerable. Don't forget the match tomorrow will be on ABC.
