What... A... Game! For those of you who watched the Czech Republic take on Turkey today, the game did not disappoint, even for someone like me who has no major interest in either team other than to see good soccer. The Czechs went ahead 2-0 early in the 2nd half, and the Turks stormed back to win 3-2, with 2 goals in the final 10 minutes, including an unlikely "gimme" on a ball spilled by Cech. What heartbreak for the Czech Republic. We now know Portugal and Turkey will advance from this group. Earlier in the day Switzerland earned some consolation by getting a 2-0 victory over a Portuguese team resting some starters. Although it won't be enough to advance, at least the co-host gets to end on a high note. Share your thoughts on either game below.
