Recently reported by Ives Galarcep, defender and New Zealand international Andrew Boyens has come to an agreement with the New York club to join the clubs roster immediately. Boyens, previously with Toronto FC but released to make room for their recent influx of midfielders, has been on trial with the Red Bulls and apparently has impressed Juan Carlos Osorio to make the move. It may come at an appropriate time as starter Chris Leitch and reserve Carlos Mendes are both injured, and Boyens may have to step right in and start in his first game with the senior team.
