The Russian club hoists the UEFA Cup, only the second time a side from Russia has had the honor. In a good game featuring more attacking action from both clubs in the second half, Zenit manufactured a pair of nice goals including one in the closing moments to finish on top. The ringing sound is Chelsea calling Arshavin as the richest clubs attempt to rob Zenit of it's strongest players in the summer transfer window.
