Just to give a share of the world football spotlight to a man who deserves it, here is a small piece on Cesc Fabregas of Arsenal. He is a Spanish international and while the likes of Ronaldhino and Cristiano Ronaldo get the main attention of the casual fans in America, for a young soccer player Fabregas may be the best to watch and learn from. He plays with great class, exhibiting masterful vision, sublime ball control and pinpoint passing. He gets his stats and is highly praised elsewhere, but I'm not sure enough Americans realize how special of a player he is. Were I an MLS owner right now and there were no restrictions on one player I could bring in, he would easily be on my top 5. You'll get a chance to see him play against our own boys when the United States take on Spain in Santander on June 4th. If you haven't seen him play take a look at the video. Still think you can hang?
